About our Coach
Mathew Golder
PGA Professional
I'm a PGA Certified Coach through the PGA of South Africa. I have 16+ years of experience in the golfing industry. I have spent 3 year in Florida at Frenchman’s Creek Beach & Country Club, 7 years In South Africa at the Metropolitan Golf Club, and 8 years have come from coaching in Hong Kong, where I have now done just over 8000 hours of lessons.
My approach to coaching is to try and keep things simple, focusing on what makes the ball do what it does and work on improving things from there. I enjoy coaching all types, from Juniors to complete beginners and those at a higher level. For me my biggest goal is to help people play better golf and have fun doing it while sharing my stories and passion for the game. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, checking out new brunch spots, sports fishing and keeping fit while exploring all the great hiking trails Hong Kong has to offer.
